LM-8GL
Composition and function
LM-8GL Glacier Coolant is a specialized industrial secondary refrigerant engineered for indirect cooling applications. It functions as a thermal transfer medium, efficiently delivering the refrigeration capacity produced by primary refrigerants to target cooling processes or materials. This product finds broad utility across sectors including chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, and temperature-controlled warehousing.
Formulated as an organically-modified salt solution, LM-8GL incorporates a carefully balanced blend of key performance additives: corrosion inhibitors to protect system integrity, anti-microbial agents to prevent biological growth, solubility enhancers to maintain stability, and chemical stabilizers to ensure long-term reliability.
Usage and application
Once introduced into the system, maintain continuous fluid circulation—static conditions should be strictly avoided.
All metallic components within the system must remain fully immersed in the LM-8GL solution without exposure to air.
Implement measures to prevent moisture ingress throughout operation. Regular monitoring of pH levels and specific gravity is recommended at three-month intervals.
LM-8GL must not be blended with other substances. Should exceptional situations arise, immediate consultation with the manufacturer is required.
