LM-4GL is a mixture with alcohols as its main component, comprising ≥90% of the formulation.
The specific CAS number is confidential. The product is a light-colored liquid. Its physical and chemical properties include a pH range of 7–11, a boiling point of ≥145°C, and a flash point of 93°C (no flash). The relative density is 1.13 ± 0.02 (water = 1), the freezing point is below -50°C, and it is readily soluble in water.
Usage and application
LM-4GL is intended for use as a coolant exclusively in industrial settings.
It is crucial that handling and application are conducted by properly trained operators following safe work practices.
Given that the product is combustible and poses health risks if mishandled, its use requires implementation of engineering controls (e.g., ventilation), use of specified personal protective equipment, and compliance with all safety guidelines provided in its Material Safety Data Sheet.
It is not suitable for non-industrial purposes.
