About Us

Glacier Coolant traces its origins to 1994, when founder Mr. Songquan Bai developed an innovative heat transfer fluid that solved the severe pipeline and equipment corrosion caused by glycol cooling solutions in chemical plants. An instant market success, the product was widely adopted across China and boosted operational efficiency in fine chemical and API facilities.

Building on this breakthrough, the company expanded its anti-corrosion product line, and by 2023, it offered over 40 formulations operating across an extensive temperature range of -110°C (-166°F) to 340°C (644°F). Its applications now span food and beverage, HVAC, cold storage, data centers, and fuel cell cooling, with silicone oils, thermal oils, and phase change materials (PCMs) added to the portfolio.

Headquartered in Chaoyang, Liaoning, Glacier Coolant runs a dedicated Laboratory Service Unit in Beijing to enhance research and development. The lab provides custom product development, technical problem-solving, and sample analysis services for clients.

Glacier Coolant

Glacier Coolant offers the largest selection of heat transfer fluids in China for a temperature range of between –110 °C and 340 °C. Our own engineers and chemists who are working exclusively in this field provide technical support to our customers looking for the perfect heat transfer fluid for their individual application.

Thermal Oil

Glacier Coolant’s thermal oil products include silicone oil, mineral oil and synthetic oil. Products are available for lower than -70°C as well as for higher than 340 °C. Glacier Coolant’s thermal fluids typically have a high boiling point, low vapour pressure and a high flash point and high fire point to minimize fire risk. They are structurally stable, thermal stability, insoluble in water, has good safety performance and good heat transfer effect.

Phase Change Materials

Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are ideal products for thermal management solutions. This is because they store and release thermal energy during the process of melting & freezing (changing from one phase to another). Glacier Coolant’s range of PCM solutions and associated products cover a wide range of applications between -30°C and 120°C and are available either as the standard PCM solution, or in a variety of formats and encapsulated versions.
